Takeaway can from Crown & Kettle, Manchester. Resin, citrus and herbal aroma. Opaque pale amber orange. Thick foamy white head. Initially light bitter, although this grows in intensity through into the finish. Fruity. Orange marmalade, only with added hops. Medium bodied. A fizzy carbonation lifts the texture from being overly thin. Dry astringent finish. Good stuff. I'm pretty sure that a few months ago this brewry had about one rating but based on this can see why they're now highly rated.

Can. Turner’s, Sheffield. Vivid, pink gold. Full on haze. Thin and messy, dense, lacing, lasting, white head. Nose has peach and white grape. Some ripe strawberry. Twang of lemon juice. Clean and mineraly backdrop. Taste has a twangy bitterness. Very mineraly. Clean and almost tart on the palate. Soft and foamy carbonation. More twang to finish. Very nearly a great IPA, but it’s a bit sharp, overall.

Can courtesy of dad, consumed on Eurostar in the company of Dad, Barry and Scott Thursday 7th March Pours yolky yellow with a huge frothy white head. Juicy bit there is a real zappy hoppy hit. Quite a lot of of bitterness but the sweetness does balance things out quite nicely. Excellent stuff. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9

Can from Bottle Baron. Murky golden body with a medium white head that holds well. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of brioche bun, mango and tangerine. Flavour of orange pith with a hint of stainless steel on the finish. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Tangy and fruity. This is my first beer from Lola Polly; I really enjoyed it.

Can. Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light and finely crisp. Light malts, a little thin, very light creamy sweetness. Piney hop intro. Some fairly tangy and bitterish citrus, mostly orange and orange peel but touches of tangerine and soft mango. Finishes light and leaves a tangy bitter linger. Good stuff but could do with less tang.
