Old notes from Nov 2014 - Bottle brought in Kinsale by my wife. Pours a amber colour with a small head. A citrus aroma and floral hops. Taste of hoppiness which becomes quite dry towards the end. Overall a nice pint, one which I'd have again.

Bottiglia.

On tap @Brasserie 4:20 (Rome). Dorata intensa, limpida, schiuma bianca media. Al naso note citriche ed erbacee, leggermente terrose. In bocca è appena dolce all'attacco con amaro finale pronunciato. Corpo leggero, carbonazione media. Non un granché.

From the bottle. Yellowish with a frothy, white head. Aroma is mango and peach. Taste is mildly bitter from beginning to end. Body is medium, texture is watery. A decent low ABV IPA.

Hazed golden color with a fine white head. Mild fruity and citric aroma. Medium (-) body and a fine carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Mild fruity, biscuits, some pine and citric hoppy flavor. Nice tasty and easy drinkable SIPA.

Bottle from Drinkstore, Dublin [100414]
Golden...clear...frothy white head that dissipates...some lacing
Aroma of soft sweet light pale malts...lemon...citrus zest...some grapefruit...slight floral hops...slight grass...quite a complex hop aroma here for the abv
Taste of zesty hops...lemon zest...slighty grassy hop...nice sweet pale malt background...lot of flavour for the abv
Palate - medium carb...light body...little oily...good mouthfeel for abv...soft sweet...bitter zest. Finish as main flavour...fairly dry...bitter zest...cleans off palate
Overall - Another good beer from this brewery

Bottle from a beer shop in Cork. Light golden with a minimal head. Aroma is light grapefruit. Flavour is fruity, watery, bitter hop start that mellows into a pleasant dry mouth finish. Could drink lots of this.

500mL bottle from Blackrock Cellar. Debated whether to label this as a Blonde Ale or Session IPA, if someone disagrees that’s fine. Tough style to do well, what’s the difference between a Session IPA, Pale Ale, and sometimes a hoppy Blonde Ale, I’d love to know. Pours a clear pale amber, pillowy white head, aroma of citrus and floral hops, bready malts. Aroma is more potent than the flavor which is hoppy bitter with a solid malt backbone that cheats the bitterness somewhat.
