Gold with a frothy, white head. White wine aroma, a touch floral with a bit of candy sweetness. Bittersweet with the tartness defining it, but overall quite delicate. Medium to light-bodied, moderate carbonation. Flügge makes some creative attempts to win new drinkers in a primarily wine-drinking region, and this is definitely a successful one.

Bottle. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is mild white grapes, mild orange peel, a touch brett/piggyskin. Taste is a touch rhubarb, lychee, a touch hay, extremely complex, but delicate. Oily mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Almost a masterpiece.

Bottle. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is white wine, but a bit juicy, orange peel, citric, light funk. Taste is white grapes, lactic, woody, leather. Mineraly-ish mouthfeel with fizzy-ish carbonation. Good, as expected!

2020 Bottle. Pale golden, low head, pearling carbonation - looks mostly like a cider. Vineous entry, grapes, orangepeel, light funk. Medium light body, sparkles, dry, bordering tannic. Apple/Speierling notes, dry yeast and wood edges in the finish.

Bottle from Beermoth, Manchester. Pours pale golden with a white head. Tart & floral with white wine vinous vibes. Dry with notes of peach, pineapple, orange, grape skin. Medium body with light carbonation. Interesting concept, and tasty too.

330ml bottle [2020 vintage, 7.7% abv]. Hazy, yellow-ish, bright golden colour with average, frothy, collapsing, white head. Mildly funky, yeasty and vinous fruity, minimally woody aroma, hints of sauerkraut, a touch of white grapes, unripe apple, orange peel, whiffs of oak. Taste is dry, tart, yeasty funky, slightly lactic, vinous fruity and minimally woody, hints of sauerkraut, unripe green apple, unripe gooseberry, white grapes, a touch of oak. Watery texture, astringent and minimally cloying palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Not as complex and fruity as Pitt & Rubi, very nice and quite refreshing nevertheless - good.
