Bottle from Great Grog. Hazy golden body with a thin white head that fades. Lively carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of grass, yeast and basil. Flavour of green banana and minerals. Medium body with a snooty mouthfeel. Very fizzy. It’s overcarbonated but flavoursome.

At the Weißbräuhaus in Ingolstadt. Gold and cloudy with a foaming head. Aroma full of clove over dough and banana bread. Moderate bitterness. Medium bodied, moderate to prickly carbonation. Lingering clove. Good one.

0.5l bottle. Cloudy muddy brown gold with a white head, not the most aesthetic weissbier. Aroma of spicy clove and pureed banana esters. Taste of spicy clove, sweet pureed banana, wheaty bready malts, yeast esters continue to the end, kind of sweet but finishes dry, light bitterness. Medium bodied, high-ish carbonation.

Gelb-orange im Glas. Tolle Trübung. Cremiger Schaum. Das sieht schon mal recht gut aus. Fruchtkompott, süßes Malz und ein winziger Hauch Nelke in der Nase. Beim Trinken bestimmen aber eher frische Früchte, insbesondere bittere Zitronenschale und etwas Grapefruit und Orange das Geschehen. Schön dichte Konsistenz. Die Geschmacksintensität ist aber nicht ganz so hoch wie Geruch, Konsistenz und immerhin 5,4 % Alk. erwarten lassen würden. Die reichlich vorhandene und extrem feinperlige Kohlensäure hat daran sicher auch ihren Anteil. Die Vielzahl von winzigen Blubberbläschen verhindert, dass die Geschmacksknospen vom Bier ausgiebig liebkost werden können. Trotzdem ein schmackhaftes und gutes Weizen.

Barwa złota, zmętnione, piana biała, średnio obfita, średnio trwała. W aromacie banan, goździk. W smaku lekka kwaskowość, nuty bananowe, goździkowe, pewna słodowość też jest. Wysycenie średnie, ciało w normie. Całkiem solidny weizen.

Bottled (thanks JonathanKull, bought from Systembolaget Avion, Umeå). Hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grainy, wheat, some yeasty and mild cowshitty fields. Flavour is wheat, some yeasty and mild toffeeish tones with mild earth and some caramel and mild tartness.

50 cl bottle from Systembolaget. Hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Sweet aroma with yeasts, wheat malts, banana, cloves and a grassy bitterness. The taste is sweet. Medium body. Slightly drying fruity finish with lingering yeasts. Nice, drier Hefe.
