Starker Ingwerbeginn, der aber nicht scharf ist, eher erdig, kaum bierig, dann süß. Mild limonadig, Ingwer, mittellanger Abgang. Meh. 7/5/5/6/10/5

Can from the local Lidl. Orange with a foamy head that soon fades. Plenty of ginger in the aroma, but trending towards a certain noxious garden weed that I would not be able to name. Taste is banana sweet with a light ginger bite at the back. Drinkable in modest doses.

Can. Pours nearly clear golden with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of yeast and ginger, with notes of banana and touches of malt. Sweetish flavour of malt and yeast, with astringent notes of ginger and touches of banana. Gingery and mildly acidic aftertaste with estery notes. Drinkable but just that.

Can, 4.7%. Old dust aroma. Hazy golden colour. Good stable white head. The flavour has a little ginger to begin with, but turns maltier after a while. The ginger makes it taste quite papery, but is not refreshing or biting. The base wheat beer seems to taste all right, though.

Wee can from LIDL. Murky dark yellow, low offwhite head. Earthy ginger and clove aroma. Medium body, mellow mouthfeel. A bit papery grainy base, banana, good ginger hit, allspice and clove retronasal. Feels like the base wheatbeer is a bit old, definitely getting some flat oxidized notes behind the ginger. Not the worst way to shift your wares I guess.

Sampled from 0.33 l can from local 'LIDL', best before July 2020. Almost clear, amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, fairly herbal-spicy and slightly yeasty-spicy aroma of lots of ginger, just some banana and a touch of clove. Quite sweet, malty, gently herbal-spicy, slightly fruity, a bit artificial and a little yeasty-spicy taste of ginger, caramel, a touch of banana and traces of clove, followed by a short, rather herbal-spicy, slightly yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. The ginger is nice, but it's still a somewhat artificial, Radler-like brew.
