375ml can from Beer52. Clear amber-gold colour, small white creamy looking head, good retention and lacing. Aroma of malts, caramel, orange, pine, resin. Taste follows nose, although there is a lighter grapefruit note just before a bold dry bitterness kicks in with resinous hops. There is enough sweetness and lighter hop-fruit note to balance. Impressive.

Can: Poured a deep unclear orange with a beige fast dissipating head. Aroma is fruity and floral, hoppy, citrus, rich malts. Taste is juicy hops, bitter, chewy, citrus, grapefruit, malt backbone, little piney and resinous in the finish.

Certainly has a bit of oomph to it, although also a little on the thin side. Pours a clear pale gold with a small bubbly white head, and pine and citrus on the nose. Those pine and citrus notes continue into the flavour, initially prevalent but fading whilst the smooth biscuit malt backbone cuts in, then some resinous pine bitterness finish things off

375ml can via Beer 52 sub. Pours clear amber with a white head. Aroma: malt, biscuit, pine resin. Taste: light sweet & moderate bitter, malty, earthy, grapefruit, touch of caramel, grass. Medium body with soft carbonation. Some nice West Coast character here.

Thin off white head quickly left collar on tea coloured still body. Malt, pine & bitter aroma. Medium bodied, soft on the tongue with a tingle on the back. Bitter, pithy, pine, resin & resin tastes with many backbone. Not bad considering the journey this has travelled!

375ml can via Beer52: BB 16th Dec 2021. Drank at home in the early hours of 25th Jan 2021. Clear golden/amber body, short lived white head. Nice blend of hops and malts, piney/resinous nose and initial taste, the malts kick in a bit later and then drift off again to allow the hops to give a dry, fairly bitter finish. Nice!

[375ml can from Beer52.] A bright amber pour with a thin cream coloured head; aroma of orange and caramel; big juicy hop taste, fruity and deeply resinous; and a satisfying finish with a gentl warmth. An excellent old school IPA.

Can from Beer 52. Aroma here is faint and vaguely hoppy. Pours a golden orange with a decent but transient white head. In the mouth there is a very brief period of juicy fruit before lovely hoppy bitterness floods through. Finish is dry and bitter. This is very nice indeed – probably the best Australian beerr I’ve ever tasted.
