375mL bottle, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out wild bugs, oak, and barnyard funk. Flavour is full of wild yeast, lots of oak, and some woody notes. Oaky, wild and buggy finish, a touch of mineraly. Very good.

Pull #3. Draft at Prototype. Pale amber with a slight haze. Subtle lactic, lots of stone fruit. Big depth here, a touch of wood and oxidation but mostly lots of acidity and fun wild fruity notes. I think this place opened just a few months after we left West Ryde and it's so far beyond anything that was down under at that time.

Bottle shared with the Kuala Lumpur Tasting Crew. Poured a hazy golden colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is grainy, yeast, vinous, citrus fruit. The flavour is moderate sour, with a light, crisp, tart citrus, molasses, light biscuit dough palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. A basic sour that ticks all the boxes.

Taster, many thanks to Werckmeister!
Pale golden, moderate hazy body, with almost no head.
Aroma of funk, green apples, pears, citrus, wood, nuts, some vanilla.
Tastes similar, with more nutty notes.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a quite lively carbonation.
Finishes quite dry, moderate acidic, wooden, nutty, a bit funky, with green apple skin and pears.
Very nice. Typical, straight wild ale, with nice acidic fruits, funk and nutty barrel notes. Drinks really fresh and easy, lovely stuff.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pull #2. Pours a clear dull gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has tart lemons with a light pepper notre, some oak and straw underlying. Flavor has tart lemon and a bit of funk with an oak bite supporting.

'Bottle, pull 1. Clear gold with a white head that gradually fades to a good coat. Aroma of crackers, apricot, old oranges, damp fodder, bracken, spices. Funkier and sourer than their Gold but with a creaminess that''s just enough to make it slightly more than light bodied and carries the fruit towards the spiced grainy finish. Not as rounded as Gold, but this is the starting point of what they hope to be a long blending process. As ever, very drinkable and inviting rather than shouty.'
