Overworks cosmic crush range are 100% mixed culture Scottish sour ales. Aged in foaders and fermented on whole fruit. Available on planet Earth. They offer a cosmos of juicy funky discovery and a wormhole to the world of sour beer.
A shimmering golden orb. Juicy freshly cut peaches on the nose. Succulent peach stands tall and ignites the palette. Dry as space dust, the tart body is deftly balanced with mouthwatering juiciness. All resting on a brett funk baseline. Lingering fruit to finish.

F: medium, white, average retention. C: milky pale gold, hazy. A: light sour fruity, woody, bit brett, peach. T: sour fruity with light lactic tones, peach, woody, medium body and carbonation, good, refreshing but bit more sour for me yet still enjoyable for sure, draft sample shared @ BBP Wanderlust 2018 in Brussels.

Thank you for sharing! Sampled draft @ BBP Wanderlust 2018. Hazy citrus, creamy white head. Nose is brett, basic milky, dirty weird brett & lacto, not a great funk profile,… Taste is dirty brett, milky, stone fruit, dirty funk, milk, spoiled, bread, hay,..; Milky brett, strange brew, funk profile is just not great, meh.

Keg at Overworks for the launch. It pours cloudy bright orange with a quickly dissipating head. The aroma is musty, funky, sour peachy action, apricot, rather juicy, vinous, red wine and damp hay. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, bright, good mouth pucker, loads of sour peach, funky apricot, juicy, vinous, sour candy, light minerals, touch lactic, Granny smith apple skin and wood with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Exceptionally well balanced. Pretty delicious stuff all in all.
