Beerito is a light bodied, amber Mexican lager brewed with premium German and Colorado sourced craft malts and featuring a crisp accent from noble hops. The mouth feel is incredibly smooth with flavors of walnut, toasted bread, plum, honey and cocoa - 4% ABV doesn't always come with this kind of character.

355ml can into schooner glass. Nose of sweet nuts and toast. Gorgeous clear copper colour with frothy white head and a myriad of tiny bubbles swirling. Laces well. Flat mouthfeel, light body. Taste is sweet and nutty followed by honey notes and a hint of sour bitterness to balance it out. Nice Vienna lager, easy drinking and smooth.

Draft at JL Beers West Fargo. Clear pale yellow color, white head. Big lime aroma. Taste is lime and subtle cracker malt. Amusing.

Can. Clear red-amber color with tan head. Aroma is nutty, earthy, caramel malts. Taste is caramel malts, nutty, earthy again, touch of chocolate and honey. Silky mouthfeel. Nice and flavourful for 4%.

Can from Beer52. Copper-amber colour with a beige head and a light fizz. Caramel aroma doesn’t promise much, but it’s pretty tasty nevertheless - caramel, brown bread, toast, brown sugar and a touch of fruit are flavoursome enough to overcome a tiny hint of card and metal. Sweet with just a little dryness in the finish. Reminiscent of a northern England brown ale, but oh so drinkable and more-should. It went down frighteningly quickly and I could have easily chugged several more. Disproportionately good.

Kind of boring, even for a Vienna lager. Big caramel malts and a bit of toast on top of weak floral hops lacking character and bitterness. Some apple-tinged lagery esters perk up, but overall nothing of note here. Heavy sweet malt nose, good pour, slack texture. Dull beer.
