0.33 l can from Amsterdam. Thanks Dinko! Shared with Marko. Hazy orange, small off-white head. Lightly to moderately hoppy, fruity, biscuity, malty. Fruity flavour, stone fruit, malts and herbs. Medium to full body, smooth and sticky.

Canned. Murky orange body, tiny white head. Tropical and orange notes, brown sugar, mild oxidation. Lean taste, again, tropical fruit, a quick swipe of honey and a solid kick of bitterness. Not bad really, simple, effective.

Thuis uit een blikje. Licht goudkleurig, weinig schuim. Hoppig, frisse, fruitige geur. Goede bittere smaak. Het toch redelijk hoge percentage proef je pas in de nasmaak. Heel goed bier.

Jusqu'au final nous étions pas mal lotis avec cette Shakti, DIPA de la brasserie Whalhala titrant à 8,2% et avec 50 d'IBU. Une amertume un peu plus saillante eu été tout de même appréciable pour une bière herbacée et fruitée en verre nous sommes sur un blond trouble sans mousse. Le nez est sur la mangue, l'orange, le pamplemousse et les herbes brassage intégrant un houblonnage à cru). A la dégustation la base maltée est relativement présente tout en étant bien dosée avec une amertume, tout en restant appréciable, étant moyennement intense. A l'attaque les herbes sont bien présentes avec des arômes de pamplemousse sur les devants. Les arômes s'équilibrent en seconde bouche avec les fruits exotiques qui s'affirment. L'alcool est alors très honnête. L’arrière-bouche est un peu plus saillante sur l'amertume et de façon surprenante, le final s'écroule alors quelque peu. Dommage, mais très agréable.

Can @ home. HAzy amber colour, white foam. Nice citrusy and grapefruit notes, lots of tropical fruit, nice bitter finish. Great!

33 cl. can @ home, bought @ Una Màs, Nieuwegein. Light hazy amber with a white head. Tropical fruit aroma with some malt sweetness. Bittersweet taste with a low bitter finish. Tasty but pretty subdued for an IIPA.

From tap @In de Wildeman, served in a Walhalla glass. Hazy pale amber colour, good frothy white head, nice retention and lacing. Aroma sweet malt, orange, peach, nectarine, tropical fruit, pine resin notes. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, orange, peach, pine resin. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation, mild semi-dry bittersweet finish, spicy notes, very likeable.
