Lager’s typecast as refreshing, but capable of so much more. We’re proud to show off all the things our favourite beer style can be. Crisp and clean, of course, but also hoppy and juicy, like this little number. Ta-da!!

330 ml can from Tesco. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is malt, light grassy citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet with a crisp, lemon/lime citrus, light pepper spice, light woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Can from Tesco and drunk at home. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Good juicy tropical fruits and citrus fruits. Just a little bit of soap maybe. It's a very easy drinking juicy hop lager. I rather liked it.. Not overly bitter on the finish. OK.

330ml can from a Tesco store. Shared with Finn on the train from Swansea to Shrewsbury. Lacing rings down the glass from a remaining white head. Spotty lacing. Hints of pale malt and mid-sweet fruity juice on the nose. Rather sweet fruity flavours of orange and peaches. Soft in in the mouth. Accepted. (05.10.2018).

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at Tesco in Manchester. Pours totally clear gold with a lasting, foamy white head. Pretty well put together. Nice mellow pale biscuit base, soft citrus accents on top, light piney bitterness, some orange rind. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with more citrusy notes, pale bread, relaxed bitterness. I could down a few tins of this without issue.

Can from Tesco Danestone. It pours golden with a thick white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, bright, orange squash, mango, apricot and nectarine. The taste is dry, bitter and crisp, pithy, zesty citrus, ripe tropical fruits, mango, apricot and the like, some green pine, grass and some clean cracker lager malt age in the backdrop. Finish is dry. Medium body and moderate foamy carbonation. Works quite well.
