Bag-in-the-box at The Globe, King’s Lynn, as Marcle Hill Cider
Light amber color, still. Light apple juice flavor. Mellow mouthfeel, semi sweet, with some decent apple juice flavor and light astringency.
Simple but pleasant.

[Cask at The Falcon (JDW), High Wycombe] Gold, no fizz. Rather vinegary apple aroma. By contrast, on tasting it’s smooth and creamy with lots of vanilla and a hint of oak. As ciders go, this one’s not too bad.

Draught (handpump) as Marcle Hill Cider at the Prince Arthur (JDW), Fleet. Perfectly still with a clear straw colour and a fresh aroma; clean tasting and fairly thin, but rather sweet with a dessert apple kind of taste; the finish is drier and well-balanced. A nice, easy drinking, cider.

Cask at the Tyburn JDW. Pour clear honey. Lightly sweet nose with apples and mild dankness. Light to medium sweetness with a nice tang and understated apple notes. Light in body and smooth. The finish is low sweet with more of a subtle tartness. I just loved this cider. Not too sweet, or too dry, or too dank. This is right in my wheelhouse.
