Blend 5 draught at the brewery, 12/26/22. Lightly hazy, burnished brass. White head slowly to ring/cover. Peachy-lactic-laced fruity acidity. Deeper grains with some light toast from the barrel. Clean, no alcohol. Soft, fruity, lots of wheat softness and light nuttiness. Brett and lacto strong on the end with barrel tannin. For 5% this is much lighter and timid than the BdPays. But perhaps that's intentional. Still, nothing wrong here. Lots of lemon, wheat, Brett and moderate lacto. Nutty, almost. Champagne like with a creamy carbonation. Hmmm, maybe talking myself in to liking this more and more w every sip. If you look at it as a Pinot Meunier champagne of sorts....

TCBW2025. No batch noted (my bad?), so rating under this as also commercial description fits. Hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, grassy and some mild herbal tones. Flavour is citrus, some floral, mild grassy and some funky tones with a bit wooden elements too. Refreshing Saison.

Tap at Hopleaf. Absolutely phenomenal Saison. So much yeast nuance. Sour, but subtle. Earthy funky rusticness. Perfect body. Awesome.

Bottle pour at Side Project Cellar. Clear golden with small white head. Funky, some light citrus notes, hay, moderate tartness. Subtle, but all blends well together.

Bottle pour. Pours gold. Herbal, lemon, lemongrass, straw, grain, minerally. Nice spritz. Decent.
More orange citrusy notes than I remember from past blends. Still delicious and hits the spot after home cooked pizza!

The nose shows intense notes of brett and tart lemon.
The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Lightly tart and moderately intense, clean, and refreshing lemon with hints of citrus.
Just delish. Love this saison, sweet oak adds the perfect flavor to round it out.

Flaska från Mikkeller, blend #3. Ljusgul med vit krona. Frisk, fräsch och snällt syrlig med toner av citrus, hö, fat, vitt vin, blommiga toner, persika/stenfrukt, snäll funk och stallighet. Oerhört lättdrucket och gott.
