Donc pour cette occasion, nous avons imaginé une saison avec de l’hibiscus rouge chinois, de la fleur d’oranger, ainsi que du yuzu japonais!

0.33l bottle. Hazy orange body with a lasting creamy white head. Aroma of rose hips, sugar syrup, lemon zest, coriander and green tea. Taste of dark sugar syrup, lemon zest, grassy hops and coriander. Fruity, refreshing beer. Nice one.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Etre. Pours clear pink with a small, fading pink-white head. Lightly sweet, some bitter floral notes, green pepper, very subtle tartness, grass. Light bodied with average carbonation. Mild berry notes in the finish, some further vaguely spicy green pepper, background malts, mellow grassy bitterness, some herbs. Interesting and enjoyable as a novelty, but not something I'd drink in quantity.

Flaska från Etre Gourmete. Disig gyllenröd färg med högt rosavitt skum. Doft av blommig chili, även smaken har tydlig chilikarktär men utan någon hetta, blommor, hö, kryddor, jäst. Lite märklig smakbild. Aningen syrlig, mycket kolsyra, låg beska. Ok

Bouteille 33cl, BB 02/2022, lot# L012/20.

Bottle picked up from Belgiuminabox webshop Antwerp Belgium (I think?) and consumed at home Monday 28th December 2020 listening to Craig Charles standing in for Steve Lamaq on 6 Music, about to cook the Stuffed aubergine rolls with melting mozzarella, now that I have picked up a vital missing ingredient. Pours a deep pinkish hazy colour with a blushed white head. Lovely floral saison, hints of grapefruit, rose like aroma, this is refreshing, simple, lovely. Do Atrium ever put a foot wrong?

Very good, collapsing light-pink head over clear, well-carbonated bright terra-cotta/golden beer. Floral nose indeed, hibiscus, some hops, citrus, soapy, herbal. Bitter-ish with lots of different herbal notes. Sweetish main flavour, fruity, citrussy notes, hibiscus tea. Very light MF, refreshing, good carbonation, easy-drinking stuff. Nice!

330ml bottle. Clear, redd-ish amber colour with average to huge, frothy, collapsing, minimally pink-ish, white head. Herbal-spicy, minimally citrusy fruity and floral aroma, hints of hibiscus, a touch of yuzu. Taste is sweet-ish, wheaty malty, floral and fruity, notes of hibiscus, a tart-ish-bitter, zesty touch of yuzu. Watery texture, minimally dry palate, rather coarse, prickly carbonation. Nice composition, but a bit anaemic, light bodied - OK.

MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit yeasty, very floral, fruity notes, soft bitterness, little bitter, hibiscus notes. Aftertaste: bit yeasty, lots of hibiscus, bit fruity, some citrus, yeasty, bit spicy, minty, nice one for food pairing.
