Cask at the Kelham island Tavern, Sheffield on 6th February 2010. Gold with a white head. Lemony hop, quite mildly flavoured and refreshing as a session ale. Sweet malty undertones. Smooth texture. Pleasant, but one was enough.

[Cask at Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, Castleton, Derbyshire] Feeble looking pale gold with a moderate white head. Very fizzy. Very thin mouthfeel. Eggy aroma. Sulphur and farmyard flavours dominate. Slight bitterness and dryness in the finish. Unpleasant - should be called Farmers Pee rather than Farmers Blonde.

Cask at The Kelham Island Tavern, Sheffield, โ€™The Peoples Republic of South Yorkshireโ€™ on the Valley of Beer Day 16-08-08 Pours light gold with white head, soft gentle citrus, gentle malt flavours, its ok but comes up quite short against the Hornbeam and Pictish in this pub. A5 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 2.9 Had this again on Cask, handpump at Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, Castleton, Peak District, Derbyshire 20.09.10. Pours very pale gold, almost straw colour nice white head, looks superb with a great clarity. Nicely bitter, but with a very good vanilla flavour, Burton nose, some citrus streaking through. Decided to re-rate a significantly better than I recalled from before. A7 A5 T7 P4 Ov14 3.7
