Bottle from Berghoeve. Aroma is tobacco, whisky, roast, some liquorice, hint of vanilla, syrup, tar, sweet dark malt, touch of dark chocolate. Flavour is medium sweet with a moderate bitterness and quite some alcohol. Body is above medium. Not the most gentle Snorre BA, the whisky is pretty strong. Barrel-heavy, nice to sip on.

Misschien wel de beste variant. Beetje aardeachtig gecombineerd met bourbon. Daarnaast zacht, roosterig, chocolade. Nice!

0.33 l bottle from 'Beerdome', best before December 2020. Clear, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty and a little fruity aroma of dark chocolate, hazelnut and a touch of whisky. Gently sweet, malty, fairly roasty, minimally fruity taste of praline, hazelnut, coffee and a touch of whisky, followed by a medium long, gently roasty-bitter, minimally boozy finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Solid RIS but not as good as the other variants I've tried so far. Actually, there is hardly any barrel detectable.

Bottle. Black. Malt, roast, dried fruit and raisin in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor, very smooth. Dried fruit, roast, oak, soft whisky notes, hardly any peat and carbon. Full bodied. Oak. Hint of liucorice. The balance is there, the whisky isn't very much present.

Bottle. Black pour. Aroma of licorice, molasses, whisky, syrup, caramel and dates. Taste has thick molasses, caramel, smoke, licorice, whisky booze, cough syrup and a licorice heavy finish. It's too rough on the whisky and lacks balance. Gonna be hard to finish this licorice fest, I don't like that flavor, this reminds me of dropshot.

Zacht zoete RIS, droppig, wat whisky notes. Dik qua textuur, drop en appelstroop. BA is subtiel en dat is fijn
