NerdBrewing Branch Pecan pie Stout 10.5% Pecan Wood aged imperial stout Deep black/brown with a wispy tan head and savory pecan stout aroma. Full bodied and lots of sweet syrupy, woodsy chocolate sauce and nutty pecan in the finish. Drinks lighter than you’d expect from the abv. Dig the Line usually has a huge stout on tap thss a yes decent value and fun to try.

bottle from beerbay spain. pitch dark, smooth light brown head. vanilla milk cookies nuts cake chocolate roasted malts in the aroma. quite strong aroma flavor is some kind of chocolate and cream dessert wtih a backbone of dry roasted malts and good coffee. pretty awesome even though it is kind of sweet. the bitterness really works well as a balance. fun naming for those nerdbrewing beers, i would not be surprised to find the reicpes on github or something.

Aus der Flasche (Vintage 2019) im 2020-06 getrunken. Der Pacan Einfluss ist in der Nase gleich deutlich. Dazu mischen sich fette Schokoladenaromen mit ein Hauch von Espresso. Dahinter kommt eine feine Paprikanote durch. Im Gaumen steht sofort eine Wand von Röstaromen mit einer kräftige Bitterkeit. Anfänglich kann einer leichte Süsse diese Bitterkeit noch gut unter Kontrolle halten aber längere Zeit im Glas und wenn das Stout wärmer wird überwiegt die Bitterkeit und es wird leicht unharmonisch. Es bleibt ein Großkaliber von einem sehr guten Stout.

Bottle, 10.5%. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, dark chocolate, pecan and caramel. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, pecan, sweet, wood, little liquorice, little dark chocolate, cocoa and medium bitter.

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, coffee, caramel, nutty, treacle, taste is similar, chewy, sweet.
