500ml bottle. Pours orange brown with a small head. Aroma is bready malt and orange squash. Taste is mostly bready malt. Touches of orange squash.

Copper brown, clear, light beige head, ligth lacing
Aroma of light beery fruits, little on the nose
Taste of caramel brown malts, soft toasted malts, hint of red fruits, quite malty, bit lacking in depth, flavour rather weak
Palate - Medium carb, bit fizzy, medium body, light sweet. Finish of soft caramel, rapid finish
Overall - Malty beer, easy drinking, expected more flavour at 5%. Average supermarket fare

Bottle from Tesco, consumed at home. Reddish brown with a hint of magenta. Not much head but lots of carbonation. Ever so slightly hazy. Gentle floral and malty scent with some stone fruit and sweet iced tea. Bittersweet taste with berries and tannin. Pleasant enough but the finish is very short and its ultimately forgettable. Still not a bad ESB all things considered.

50cl bottle from Morrisons, Aldershot. A dark golden amber pour with a thin cream head; spicy aroma;very fizzy in the mouth at first and then rather thin with a spicy grain taste and some sour fruit; then a light spicy bitterness, and a hint of salt to finish.

Bottle from Tescos. Copper coloured pour with a long lasting fluffy beige head. Lots of berries and toffee in the nose. Toffee, malt, splash of orchard fruit in the flavour. Tasty ESB.

500ml bottle from Tesco - Decent deep red body, rocky white head that fades off to a thin patchy film. Nose is rich cake fruits, malty caramel, with a little floral grassy hop character in there too. Taste is nice and rounded, he highlight of this one, with malt at the forefront, and a little sharp finish.

Bottle at home, 03/05/16. Rich copper with a reddish flicker in the light, topped with a light beige head of bubbles. Nose is biscuit malt, caramel, light fruit esters, grassy notes, light spice. Taste comprises toffee, biscuit, fruit loaf, airy malts, faint red berry twinge, dried fruits. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced bitterness and good malt interplay. Decent ESB.
