Sea Fury is an exceptional example of the Special Bitter beer style, offering substance and depth of flavour without compromising balance and drinkability. An aroma of inviting roasted and dark berry notes gives way to sumptuous, fruity, malty flavour and a moreish hop finish.

Hoop & Grapes Nicholsons. Cask. Clear amber beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth with modest fine carbonation. Caramel streaked malts, sweetish and with an unusual trace of chocolate. Tangy fruits and orange peel bring up the rear and blend in well. Light finish. A sweetish bitter but a fresh cask and it was pretty drinkable.A

Bottle from Tesco, Borehamwood. Darker clear brown with hardly any head. Has some robust, slightly sweetened dark malts with a good potency in this respect.
