50cl bottle, best before 25.10.15 (2 months off). Pours a very dark brown, opaque brew, with a thin tan head with no retention. Smells like an aged porter, alright - heavy on dark fruit, cherries, chocolate and coffee, and a mellow note of roasted grains. The taste is quite balanced - roasted grains, cherries, dark fruit, dark chocolate and coffee. Smooth mouthfeel and almost no carbonation.

Bottle - brewed in March 2014, expiry date March 2016. Black colour with brown reflexes, small brown head. Aroma is very intensive dark chocolate with cherry, a little bit of ash, wood. No alcohol noticeable. Light bitterness, slightly sour. Full body, slick texture, soft carbonation. I love the smoothness and thickness of the beer, it is absolutely not too heavy. I would even like it more if it had more body - but then it wouldn’t be normal porter ;) So, being as it is - a great, great beer.

Draft sample @ ACBF 15.
