Tap at KEG. Pours brownish deep copper with no head. Nose is booze, biscuity malts, woody touch, vanilla, bourbon notes, a touch of chocolate. Taste is sweet notes of booze and bourbon with some wood, vanilla, dried fruits and chocolate. Closes with long lasting sweet finish, has a medium body and soft carbonation. Pretty tasty, but not as complex as I hoped it’d be and some more body wouldnt’ve hurt.

Draught@TCBW2022. Hazy deep brown colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is toffee, some sweet malts, mild ripe fruits and over all quite malt dominated aroma. Flavour is sweet toffee, mild grains, some caramel and mild wooden and floral tones to it. Also some ripe fruits and raisins. Sweet, but not overly so.

Bottle picked up by Jacob last year in Vienna. Dark, dark brown. Minimal, creamy beige head. The aroma is the highlight: toffee, figs, raisins. Very pleasant sniffing. Taste is a fine mix of bitter and sweet, even surprisingly tart. Finishes with a mix of bitter oak, sweet toffee, and sour cherries. Full-bodied, mild carbonation. Wow, great stuff, and courtesy of my son. Nice!

On tap at Borefts. Pours a very dark brown with short head. Aromas of bourbon, sweet caramel, nougat, dark fruit and bready malts. Flavors of raisins, caramel, sweet bourbon, and bready almost doughy malts. Very good

Clear red brown beer, small creamy to aery beige brown head, unstable, falls down quickly, little adhesive. Aroma: oxidized, malty, dried fruits, some roasted malts. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish start, caramel, dried fruits, lots of chocolate, sweet, nice! Aftertaste: a bitter touch, lots of chocolate, a bit fruity, sweet touch, very nice!
