355ml bottle, close to its BB date. Pours hazy orange with a frothy off-white head, great retention and lacing. Aroma: hoppy, floral, citrus, tropical, slightly resinous. Taste: floral hops, citrus, tropical fruits, resin, floral bitter aftertaste. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel, average carbonation. Considering this bottle was past its best I was impressed with this, been around for almost 20 years yet it still holds up well with today's west coast IPAs. Great beer.

One of my all-time favorite go-to IPAs. Bitter and proud of it, piney and resinous with a dank-citric core. Toast and caramel provide a solid base, while orange and herbal hops lead to a clingy bitter finish. Smooth texture, pine, grapefruit and weed in the aroma. Good to finally have Bear Republic in these parts. Tasty brew.

Golden with a white head - Fruity hop aroma - Malt body to support a hop profile that has fruity and herbal, spicy flavours - The hops with a good bitterness goes into the finish - This was good

Bottle from Beers of Europe, Kings Lynn. Golden and clear with massive visible carbonation and a huge white head. Strong scent of citrus and tropical hops (pineapple and melon in the foreground) with a pleasant biscuity malt leveller. Sweet taste... although the bitterness of the hop is used for a balance, this is a surprisingly sweet IPA. Finish is slightly more bitter. A bit more pineapple and banana in the aftertaste. It’s good but surprisingly low-key, and the alcohol is hidden well. Certainly worth trying.
