Amber colour. Nice aroma, lots of malt coming through. Flavour is well balanced with soft malty taste at first before the hops come through leaving a nice dry finish.

33cl bottle from Dranken Geers, deep amber colour clear, thin off white head. Creamy estery aroma. Lots of malt in the mouth. Little bit musty. Not all that good to be honest. Too thin, too musty on the malts.

Bottled. A pale amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of dusty hops and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and malt, leading to a metallic finish.

Bottle. Clear medium amber color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, bread, wood. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (040208)

Bottle 25 cl, one year past BB date. Nice slightest hazy amber red color, small off-white head. Soft fruity aroma, some caramel malt and some hop, maybe a bit biscuit and port wine. Bit sweet malty taste, reasonably bitter, slight metallic hint, aging characteristics. Bit weak beer, but the slight aging makes it not bad, certainly not for a starter right now.

(I’ll have to join Josh with a very aged one) Beer itself very clear foxy-amber, but dark flunky bits get stirred up, only to settle again; off-white head, fast gone, big bubbles. Biscuit, bit of port, but also faint fruity nose, like blueberries. Generally speaking very watery. Bit of caramel and biscuit in the taste, but overlying is a metallic-bitter flavour. Portwine flavours, but faint. Somehow the bitterness doesn’t translate as hoppy to me. Extremely light, watery texture. Aftertaste gets a bit creamier, but metallic tang keeps very apparent. Weak, faint-fruity and unrefined ale. Young too, no mistake.
