What a delight! Scored from a convenience store in HCMC so it’s gotta be good! It’s clear golden with a white head. Aroma quickly subdues my enthusiasm with dull malt, grain, cereal and metallic notes. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with light carbonation. Yawn.

Clear golden coloured body with a tall, very soapy pure white head, that starts at about three centimetres and fades to just one. Aroma of pale grain, a touch of hay and grass and a bit of sugar, but fairly mild throughout. Light-bodied throughout; Some stronger bites from grain at first with a dash of citrus, rice and funky malts and only a touch of hay and yeast to pair with the caster sugar and very light sweetness noticeable. Aftertaste shows the grain and odd stale malts with a touch of sweetness, alcohol and hay towards the end, but this is very malty, pale and dry. Overall, quite pale and dry with some light grain and rice at first and very mild. A decent option to try, especially at the price, but not really worth drinking more than one of these, considering they have a few craft beers that you can find around a bit more easily. I sampled this 33 cL can purchased from Circle K in Saigon, Vietnam on 07-August-2019 for VND14,000 sampled a few minutes later on the streets of Saigon with my three kids and wife.

0,33 bokser på hotellrommet i Can Tho (Vietnam), delt med Kitty mars-19: klar gylden med kort skum. En rask og ukomplisert forfriskning etter en kveldstur i byen, men helt uten særpreg eller mersmak.

Can from a Ho Chi Minh Circle K convenience store. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a frothy white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is sweet cardboard malt. The flavour is light bitter sweet with a light watery cardboard malt, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Too light all round and with little or no flavour.

330ml can found in Nha Trang, Vietnam. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is cardboard, malt. Taste is pretty much the same, and no hops to be found. Was expecting a crisp Japanese lager, but this just tastes a lot like the other pale lagers brewed in Vietnam.
