Notes of grapefruit, orange, and pine intermingle to lure the drinker in. The body is deceptively light, with the malt being a mere canvas for the hops to dance around upon. The citrus base builds into a juicy hop blast, which fades into a nicely biting finish.

A hazed golden ipa with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with loads of resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light treacle, very nice. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with with loads of citrusy floral hops, doughy character, light sake notes, very nice. On the brewery .

On tap at Pasteur Street, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small beige head. Aroma is very malty, with lots of caramel bready malt, some resinous hops and floral soapy notes. Flavour is over-malted and off in several ways, with herbal notes, some boiled vegetables, bready malt and light resinous hops. This is way off - needs some work.

Pours hazy orange-amber, with some head. Aroma is not necessarily bad but too piney for me. Very spicy, herbal, extremely (overly) resinous pine (too intense imho). Flavour is similar, quite nice, herbal, rather fruity but also very piney. Nice herbal and fruity aftertaste, hops is more balanced in the finish. Grapefruit and other citrus fruit also there. Rather nice, too much pine but balanced long finish.

Draft - Big pine, dank and citrus notes. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Bitter citrus peel and pine up front. Tropical fruits follow, lily and sticky sweet. Guava, mango and Mandarin finish. Great nose but the sticky fruity taste is not my thing in this one.

Tap at the Ho Chi Minh brewpub. Otherwise known as PSBC Double IPA. Poured a slightly hazy dark amber with a thin white head. The aroma is light woody resin hop, some pine needle and light citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth biscuit yeast, hoppy bitter, tropical grapefruit citrus, light alcoholic palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
