Aroma of soft hop notes. Good foam in the glass and a clear copper body. Flavour is a middling citrus affair. Kind of weak on the mouth. It’s decidedly and spectacularily average.

Draught at the brewery on 4/18/15
Bright but lightly pale gold body is clear with maybe a touch of chill haze. White head is small and recedes to cover.
Hoppy immediately in the nose (floral, hay, grass, pepper) but with a strong doughy element (plaster, dough, vanilla). Light touches of honey are the extent of the malt. No alcohol, no astringency.
Flavor is also bitter up front, nicely floral/grassy and with a lively carbonation that helps keep it very light but disperses quite quickly leaving the end rather watery (which seems appropriate for this small a beer). Light honey/white bread sweetness and maybe a touch of diacetyl, though it’s not strong and is almost masked by the hop acids. Fine, drinkable.

(27 mai 2013)

Sampled on tap at L'Amre Boire, pours a clear copper with a medium off-white head. Aroma is quite herbal and fungal, with dank earth, herbal hops and bready malts. Flavour is dominated by dank white bread, slight herbal and spice notes, but barely noticeable. Mouthfeel is fairly meaty for a 3.6% blond lager. Solid session beer.

Tap from the brewpub: Poured a Clear golden color pils with a medium size foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of lightly sweet bready malt with a light dry hoppy finish. Taste is very refreshing with nice cereal notes and very subtle dry hops. Body is fuller then expected with good carbonation. Very well done and it doesn’t show that alcohol is below 4%.

A golden pils with a thick white head. A nice biscuitty malt with pungeant czech hops. In mouth, a good biscuitty malt, carmale, with herbaceous hops, a bit of butterscotch. Very well balanced and rich bodied....and its 3.6%??? Wow. A quaffer classic. On tap at brewpub, April 24 2009.
