Can from Beerdome. Strong hazelnut aroma with chocolate, roast, cocoa, more nuts, vanilla. Flavour is medium sweet with a light to moderate roasty bitterness. Body is medium. Bit of an artificial/flavored aroma, but I'm a sucker for hazelnut.

(Can) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with hazelnuts, chocolate truffles, vanilla, caramel, coffee and treacle-toffee. Malty, roasted taste with notes of hazelnuts, cacao, vanilla, coffee and a generous cacao bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Lots of hazelnuts and dark chocolate. Rich and tasty. Very nice.

Dark brown colour with lasting head. Aroma is just like Ferrero Rocher. Flavour has it too but there's also a strong bitterness too. A touch of coffee. Overall the hazelnut syrupy sweetness is a bit too much.

Pours a very dark brown. Small, slight tanned, fairly creamy white head. Scent is full, hazelnut, milder roasty side. Taste is bitter, sharp, bit 'plastic'. Roasty + lower alcohol tends to give that. Very bitter finish. Hazelnut is there, but relatively mild.

Can from Struise shop online. Cloudy black, stable, frothy, beige head. Strong aroma of hazelnut paste & roasted hazelnut, cocoa nibs, coffee roast, toast, earth. Taste has a strong nutty maltiness, hazelnut & cashew with some chocolate, toasty bitterness, ending earthy hoppy, dash of cream, still roasted nutty & dry chocolate powder. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Rather big difference between aroma & taste, the former promising full-on 'pastry', the latter providing a dry-toasty-nutty Stout. Overall good, then.

Can. Nose is hazelnut syrup, vanilla, ice cream, chocolate. Taste is hazelnut, brazil nut, chocolate, praline, vanilla, leading to earth, hint of smoke, and cold espresso, milk chocolate. Drinkable, but too like the hazelnut in a costa coffee, very artificial tasting. Edit: The hazelnut is repeating on me an hour or more later. I suspect something quite synthetic.

330ml can – Pours dark brown black colour with a small tan head. Aroma is hazelnuts, chocolate and vanilla. Sweetish, rich roasted, chocolatey taste, loads of hazelnut and cocoa flavours. Creamy and smooth in the mouth with a light drying ashy bitterness to finish.

Svart. Høyt tett skum med litt farge. Daler sakte & etterlater tynn teppelacing. Hasselnøttaroma. Smaken også nøtter. Fant litt valnøtter her. Tørr avslutning. Artig - men uvariert.
