Lager isn't the first thing coming to mind. Almost but not quite clear, light, fruity, floral and crisp. Some lemon and barrel. Very nice.

0.15 l tap. Pale unclear yellow, almost no head due to the small pour. A lot of funk in the nose. A lot of brett, wood and barrel notes, grapefruit, lime, sweet malts, barnyard, grassy notes, fermented hay. Mild dry acidic sourness, minimal bitterness and some malty sweetness. Light bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry acidic finish. Mind blowing Lager that really grows on you the more you drink. Amazing!

Bottle. Don’t know where from. Thought I’d ticked this at CW F&F, but evidently not. Straw colour. Fair haze. Beautiful Kernel swede. Nose has fresh squeezed lemon.Citrus pith. Soft spice. Touch of brett like funk. Taste is a wonderful balance of grainy sweetness and tart, lemon like bitterness. Clean and crisp on the palate. Fine and bright carbonation. Moderate but lingering bitterness to finish. Oof.

Bottle from Cornelius. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of lime and minerals. Flavour of lemon with a hint of white wine vinegar. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Bright and delicious. It's a bit like a sessional Orval.

Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from All Good Beer HD. Pours mostly clear yellow-gold, lightly effervescent, with a frothy, white head. Lightly tangy, some crispy pale grains, nips of lemon, hay, maybe a hint of funk. Light bodied with active carbonation. Quenching finish, some mellow biscuity notes, more pale grain, lemony tang, dirty hay. Interesting stuff. It grew on me.

Tart. Funk from Brett. Some okay flavour from the foedering. Hazy and unfined. Lemon zest. Grapefruit. Biscuity malt. Crazily-complex. Noble hops. Just wow

Just Tettnanger in this one. Can't be arsed to add a new entry, hops are on the back anyway. Light haze on this pale yellowish gold beer, tiny pale cream colour head. Palate is light and has a decent fine crispness. Light malts, sweetish. No real lager character here but the Forder treatment imparts a nice light lemony vibe that goes well enough with the modest sharpness of the noble hops. Light crisp finish. Refreshing.
