Draught Good, very dense & fine stable white head over pale yellow-golden beer with Grünstich . Very demure nose; dipping in deep, noble hops appearing, then gradually lemony, pretty surprising. Lemon reappears in the flavour, with an additional flavour I connect to spelt. There is none or almost no hopbitterness, which is difficult to relate to Tettnanger. Light, refreshing. Not much carbonation, which a classical Bavarian Keller/Zwickelbier would warrant. Nice, I can live with this, but it would be a lot nicer if a German brewer would have conceived this.

Flavour is composed of semi crisp, pale grains, tangy apple, lemon rind, grass, mellow funk, lemon. Mellow bretty funk. Palate is tart and crisp, very refreshing, moderate carbonation. Very good.

Slight hazy golden with a big white head. Aroma of oak, lemon, soft Brett and light malt. Flavour is light sweet and bitter with some sourness. Light bodied with light carbonation. Nice though not something I’d have multiple glasses of.

Bottle at home, 2nd October 2020. Pours a light golden clear lager. Aroma is wood, straw and funk. Taste is smooth, Brett is evident, straw, funk, wood. It’s a fantastic lager, stunning stuff.

(Keg at Pien Brewpub, 20200911) The beer poured pale golden and lightly hazy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had wood, vineousness and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were tartness, wood, fruitiness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, tart and bitter. A brew with dominating barrel notes. Not my thing.

September 5, 2020, on tap at Chinaski, Lavapiés. A bubbly, rocky, long-lasting, off-white head sitting on top of a pale golden, rather yellow pour. Aroma is lemon, ash, leather, fresh wheat. Mouthfeel is dry and acidic; taste is umami, bitterless. Medium persistence finish, nice feel to it. Good.
