31/XII/23 - 33cl bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte), shared @ the Abeels’ place, BB: 14/IX/25(.3) (2023-1225)
Clear dark brown beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: oh my, lovely, lots of caramel, chocolate, lots of vanilla. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: slightly sourish, good roast, a bit sweet, caramel, vanilla, some chocolate. Aftertaste: more chocolate notes, a bit oxidized, quite some caramel, bitter, alcohol burn, coffee roast, vanilla. Very nice and pleasant beer!

Can 33 cl. Pours an opaque, nutty brown with a small, beige head. Malty, caramelly nose. Rich, sweet, malty body, slightly nutty and biscuity. Warming alcohol finish. Superbly balanced BW. 030623

Canned@Zinc Craftbar, Vaasa. Very deep reddish copper colour, almost opaque with a small head. Aroma is fudge, toffee, fruits, alcohol and some mild raisins. Flavour is raisins, fruits, dried fruits, some alcohol, vanilla, wood and mild chocolaty tones.

Djupröd med ett litet skum. Väldigt söt doft av marshmallows, vanilj, choklad och bär. Sötklibbig smak av saftsoppa, kola och sirap. Alkoholen värmer på slutet. Alldeles för söt.

Can from Beers@Moviefun. Hazy dark brown, thinning, off-white head. Aroma of lots of bubblegum, tooth paste almost, fruit candy, chemical milk chocolate, vanilla sauce, caramel. Taste has sweet pear & red apple and - dear me - banana candy, giving off a bubblegum effect again; more sweetness thanks to caramel maltiness and diluted chocolate. Herbal hoppy finish, phenolic, oddly spicy, more artifical fruit candy with the faintest touch of vanilla, and quite boozy brown rum-like alcohol. Medium body, syrupy texture, soft carbonation. Completely gone wrong - unexpectedly, I must say.

Can at Dig the Line. Rich nose of malt, caramel, vanilla, chocolate, fruity esters. Spicy, malty, and sweet but not overly sweet or cloying. The additions aren't overdone.
