Cask at the Jack Phillips (JDW), Godalming. Chestnut with a scummy white head; fruity aroma; grainy body, with an earthy amlt taste; a touch of spice and the a dry, lingering fruity finish. Not a bad bitter, but falling far short of the description.

Crosse Keys Spoons. Cask. Clear amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy with modest fine carbonation. A light and sweet malt base, little floralness in the mid turning sweeter. Modest citrus. Trace of peach. Light dry finish. Not bad.

Cask at the Willow Walk, JDW - London. Pours clear golden brown with a creamy off-white head. The aroma holds dried berries, leaves and lightly toasted, grainy bread. Very basic flavor with mellow toasty brown bread, slight dried fruit, bland earth. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. More of the same on the finish, just bready malts, some toasted grains, vague fruits, minimal hop character. Drinkable.
