Bottle shared by Jeff, thanks! Pours black with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has dark chocolate and whiskey with a bit of bitter roast supporting. Flavor has bitter dark grains with dark chocolate, growing whiskey and a hint of coffee in the finish.

Poured from a 2019 vintage, 500 ml bottle. Aroma is malt forward with lots of bourbon notes and a light alcohol spice. Moderately strong chocolate notes with light roast, honey, and faint caramel notes. Light oak and a touch of leather. Pours black with a medium large, thick, mocha head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers. Moderate lacing and fairly long legs. Flavor is fairly sweet with lots of chocolate notes. Light honey and caramel with a bit of roast notes. Faint leather. Medium to medium light bitterness. Quite a bit of bourbon notes with some light oak. Faint dark fruit notes. Mouthfeel is full bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice stout. Lots of chocolate malt notes with good sweetness and solid bourbon notes.
