Sampled @ Borefts Bier Festival 2022. A very dark reddish brown beer. Aroma of sweet dark chocolate malt, vanilla, bourbon. Taste of sweet caramelized malt, chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, dough. Nice.

On tap at Borefts. Pours black with moderate tan nitro head. Aromas of creamy chocolate, vanilla and slick roasted malts. Flavors of bitter dark chocolate, almost sour black coffee, and oily roasted malts.seems a little off.

I've been wanting to try this, so I'm glad they opened a keg. Very interesting beer, the hopjes are really pronounced, and work well with the coffee. Fairly sweet, pretty tasty, but unfortunately it's very thin. Easy 4+ if thicker.

Clear purple red brown beer, small creamy beige to brownish head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of caramel, coffee, some alcohol, lots of vanilla as well, some chocolate notes, good roast, sweet impression. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: wow, good roast, lots of cocoa powder, bitter, coffee, a bit sourish, lovely! Aftertaste: more coffee, caramel, good bitter roast, some vanilla.

Tap. Brown color with beige head. Aroma is coffee, pretty intense coffee, chocolate. Taste is chocolate, a bit tart, plum-y. Oily mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Solid aroma, not amazing taste.

Süffiger, vanillig malziger Beginn. Milde Herbe, Schokolade, süßer werdend. Cremig, langer malziger Abgang. 11/10/11/11//11

Aus der Flasche (bottled 18.02.2020/bbe 18.02.2025) im 2021-09 getrunken. Dieses Stout miot cremigen, beogenr Schaumkrone läßt in der Nase eine Karamell-Bombe explodieren. Dahinter recht vwersteckt ist ein Milchschokolade-Aroma zu entdecken. Am Gaumen dominiert ebenfalls das Karamellaroma gefolgt von heller Schokolade, Haselnüssen und einer eher verhaltenemn Süsse, die die biotteren Röstaromen sehr gut balaciert. Im Abgang kommt später ein recht kräftiges Kaffeearoma auf. Der hohe Alkoholgehalt ist sehr gut wie so oft bei IStouts von DeMolen eingebunden. Sehr lecker diese Karamell-Bombe.

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is huge coffee, roasted, chocolate, some vanilla, taste is sweet toffee, dry, roasty, a little funk, liquorice.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Black, tan foam. Coffee, chocolate, butterscotch, toffee, caramel, bourbon, vanilla, a bit of licorice, sweet, a bit umami, some bitterness, full-bodied. Very good.
