Bought at my local Aldi last month so not sure how this is out of production. Anyway, served really well chilled discussing life, universe and everything with number 2 daughter. Good in the glass, body flavour and sunshine. Really rather good.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Aldi Dalston. Pours crystal clear honey-gold with a creamy, white topping. Light sweet flavour with easy pale bread, a little cabbage, hay, toasted cereal. Light bodied with average carbonation. Decent balance to finish, more bready pale malts, mild vegetal notes, low bitterness. Drinkable enough.

*rating overgezet* Fles gedeeld door Koenzie geprobeerd met Roelzie. Het is een helder goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van mout en caramel. De smaak is moutig en zacht hoppig.

[50cl bottle from my local Aldi.] A bright amber pour with a thick white head; leafy hop aroma with a touch of peach; tangy hedgerow hop taste with a sweet biscuity malt body; and a tangy bitter finish. Very hoppy for a supermarket beer.

Bottle from Aldi. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Aroma of grassy and citrus hops. Tastes like a golden ale in mouth. Ale yeast fighting vs the citrus hops. Good bitter finish mind. Grapefruit and lemon. Ok

Bottle from local Aldi. Not much of an aroma here – maybe some apricot jam ? Pours a golden yellow with a small white head. Sweet malts are the main feature in the mouth, with a touch of peppery hops. A little more bitterness in the finish. Pretty nondescript really – but that’s the sort of beer I was looking for today !

Bottle from Aldi. Golden in colour, with a moderately-sized, white, head and a touch of carbonation. Sweetish malts, a touch of cardboard in the background, some leafy hops and apricot fruit, leading to a lingering, bitter, finish. Fine for a price of £1.09.
