Cask in The Narrowboat, Skipton on 9th April 2017. Slight haze to the golden pour, thin white topping. Single hopped with Cascade (I assume), citrusy with a floral touch, fairly bitter taste: showcases the Cascade hop nicely. Not my favourite hop because of the citrus leanings, but this beer was fine.

Cask at the Greyfriars, Reading. A hazy amber pour with a ring of white head; light citrus aroma; rather muddy, citrusy taste; and a sweet grapefruit finish. Not impressed, cascade should be better than this.

Keg. Pours golden and clear, pretty much no head. Citrus hints and yeasty malt aroma. Taste is soft hoppy fruit, bready malt background. Mouthfeel is a little thin and perhaps under-carbonated.

Cask at Holborn Whippet. Clear gold colour lasting white head. It’s a little sweet and some resin hops. A little earthy. Earthy grapefruit resin cascade flavour. A little too dirty maybe. Good carbonation though. OK
