A dry, crisp and refreshing cider made with a blend of dessert apples handpicked from “Dorothy’s Orchard” - our small orchard named after Norman Stanier’s mother who lived her whole life tending the apple trees here at Dragon Orchard. This orchard comprises over 30 different dessert varieties, some heritage, and some modern, and have resulted in a very fruit driven style, with low tannin, but good body.

Box @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Clear golden peach coloured cider. Has a sugary-sweet aroma, but a lot drier in taste. There’s a strength here but it’s light apple flavour remains dominant. Smooth in the palate.

Draught at the Cider Tap, Euston. Hazy gold colour, thin white head that dissipates away and aroma of tangy apple. Taste is tart fruity apple, with some citric sourness, melon notes and drying tannins. Light bodied, low carbonation, dry mellow tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Not bad. Easy-drinking. Appletiser and candi sugar.

Draught @ Cider Tap. Pours clear gold. Fresh and vibrant taste. Soft tannins with a moreish fleshy apple fruitiness. Very nice.

Bag in a box at The Snooty Fox, Cannonbury, (Good Libations Beer Festival) Saturday 26th October 2013 in company of Ang. As with the beers it is tricky to be sure of the exact colour of this as it is very dark in here so can’t be 100% sure, however of the three ciders we had this looked like clear sparkling apple juice, golden? in appearance. Clean and crisp in the mouth, fruity, plenty of sweet apples but very refined, I found this to be more med/dry than dry, juicy and with plenty of bittersweet apples, another good effort from this producer.
