NW3 ‘hands-off’ the bland as elderflower ‘rucks’ with floral notes delivering a full bodied beer that finishes soft at the ‘try-line’. At first sip we’re sure you’ll convert.

Cask (Hope Tap, Reading) - Golden with a slight haze. Pineapple and some grainy notes in the aroma. Pineapple and hints of citrus in the taste. Not bad but not as flavourful as other beers from this brewery.

Cask-conditioned at the Lime Kiln, Bristol 7/4/2016. Golden in colour, with a slight, white, head. Aroma of tropical fruit and orange blossom hops. Flavour had biscuity malts, much more juicy fruit, and a hoppy, dryish, finish. Very good.

Cask @ Microbar, Manchester. Clear golden with a thin head. Has a pale ale fruity dryness in its texture, and some in its taste, with a more soapy fruity flavour that lingers in its aftertaste. Has a soapy-malty nose.

Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. Pale amber with a loose white head; an unusual perfumed but earthy aroma, by first thought was lavender, but I later discovered that is was elderflower; a sharp citrus taste to start then becoming more floral; with a dry biscuity finish. Oddly pleasant.

Cask at the Greyfriar, Reading. Amber with a thin white head. Flowers, dry leaves and caramel. An OK bitter but not up to others I’ve had from this brewer.
