Bottle shared at Cotteridge Convention 2017 - cheers all! Pours black-brown with a creamy, tan head. The nose holds ashy roast, dark chocolate. Medium sweet flavour with hints of rubber, burnt bread, milk chocolate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish, some burnt nuts, simple chocolate notes. Not bad.

20th May 2017: Cotteridge tasting #3. Cheers John for hauling this back from Asia and sharing. Black bodied, tan topping. Aroma had roasted malts giving off chocolate esters and plenty of them. Taste also dominated by chocolate malts, my sweet tooth loved the brew.

Bottle at Cotteridge Convention 2017. It pours jet black with a massive tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, charred wood, umami, dark chocolate, cocoa and light smoke. The taste is bitter, dark roasted malts, bitter - sweet, milk chocolate, liquorice, ashy, charred action, Alice and dried fruits with a sweet finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. A bit too sweet for my taste, but decent anyhow.
