(Cask at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell, London, 23 Nov 2016) Golden colour with foamy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of tropical fruit, citrus and pineapple. Malty, fruity taste with tropical fruit, grapefruit, some resin, chewy malt and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Fresh and tasty, with a certain bite. Nice one.

On tap at Mother Kellys Bethnal Green. Hazy amber colour lasting white head. Tasty enough pale ale. Some tropical fruit but fairly restrained. Fruit comes later. Mango. Tangerine. But too fizzy . Good but too fizzy by far.

Craft St Mary’s Axe. Keg. Light haze on this gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Light malts, mildly sweet. Nice smooth sweetish floralness with slightly tangy tangerine. Trace of peel bitterness. Light semi dry finish. Bitter linger. Clean and drinkable.

Keg at Craft Clerko, 24/11/16. Golden blonde with a decent off White head. Nose us melon, straw, orange peel, soft bread, apricot. Taste comprises melon, light perfume, peach, toasted bread, grains, citric tinged straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation melded with light hop bitterness. Ok easy drinking pale but lacks the bollocks to be classed as an IPA!
