This was my go-to beer when I lived in Korea in the 1980's. Mediocre stuff, but better than Soju. I still have an '88 Olympic beer mug from them.

Large bottle at a Korean BBQ joint in Irvine, Orange County California on 11th Dec 2019. Clear and clean golden body, snow white crown that faded swifty (my greasy/fatty mouth helped it depart too). Semi-sweet lager/pilsner, light grainy nose and taste, just enough hops for a mild bitterness in the finish. It complimented the BBQ meat very well.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle from 'Dae Yang', bottled in July 2017. Clear, golden yellow with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy aroma of grains and some straw. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, slightly grassy taste of grains and straw, followed by a short, quite bitter, grassy-dry and a bit metallic finish. Almost medium-bodied, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!
