Bottle thanks to Eddie Gadd at The Ravensgate Arms Ramsgate. Hazy cloudy orange gold colour. Influences from Girardin and De Cam lees. Authentic farmyard funk aroma no doubt. Good biscuit on the malt and wheat. So fullish in mouth. Good mouthfeel. Brett biscuit. Wow. Thats about as good as it gets. The intensity. The balance. The lemon. The funk. Just outstanding. Racy lemon acidity on the finish. Its amazing. Ageing is present but it tastes fresh too. As always it just goes to show how good Eddie is as a brewer. I keep saying it but its amazing. Best sour beer ive had from the UK.

Pours clear amber, small white head. Smell is intense, mild acidic, some funk. Taste is intense, funk, woody, mild tannines. mild buttery maltyness ( which is nice, I don't mean diacethyl ) Nice.

Thank you for sharing RB Crew! Sampled 750 ml. bottle @ GBF 2017. Golden darker orange, hazy, off-white head. Nose is nice orange peel funk, some hop, old orange peel, thicker malt, nice funk. Taste is orange peel & band-aid funk in a good way, low brett malt, old wood,… Thicker malt bodied, good funk. Far more accomplished than most Ramsgate beers in my opinion. Very neat stuff.

Pretty cloudy orange to beige beer, aery irregular off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: funky, fruity, yeast, sourish, some tannins, wood notes. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty sourish, funky, lots of wood, tannins, bit peppery. Very decent wild ale / geuze!
