Bottle at home. A lively pour and a very pale colour in the glass. A really crisp and clean taste that is akin to a lager. Very pleasant.

Bottle from Russell & Newnes, Aldeburgh. Clear golden with a light carbonation and a bubbly-frothy head. A pleasant in the palate bottle conditioned pale ale with citrus notes in both aroma and taste. Hints of breadiness.

A light haze on this orange gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation emerging late on. Light malts, smooth and with a very modest sweetness. Old stalwart Citra, provides rich orange which is dominanted by the peel side of things. Some tangerine and mandarin bring up the rear with a whisper of pink grapefruit. Light finish leaves a modest peel bitter linger. A tasty and drinkable good that does a pretty good job showcasing Citra.

Cask at the Elephant, Faversham on 30th April 2022. Clear gold with shallow off-white foam and full lacing. Zesty peel aroma. Grassy and citrus hops in-mouth and a finish of blended fruits and grassy hoppiness which begins to take over as the finish evolves. Very well kept.
