Fra cask på The Craft Beer Company Covent Garden: klar kobbergylden med fint skum som varer. Deilig maltaroma og smak med barskog, urter og krydder. Det samme gjelder ettersmaken. En god bitter i klassisk stil.

Gravity cask at the Real Ale Classroom. Pours golden brown, a little hazy and flat. Woody and almost funky smell, earthy and grassy notes, light bitterness herbs. Tastes fairly bitter with some subtle toffee sweetness. Bitter and slightly astringent finish. Flat and slightly thin body. Lots of promise but ultimately isn't as engaging as I thought it'd be. Still pretty nice though.

Pale golden colour with lasting head. It's a nutty bitter with a little dried apple. Thin and watery and lacking a bit of punch.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 30th August 2020. Hazy amber with shallow off-white foam and spot lacing. Intensely malty aroma with biscuit and caramel. Nutty and malty in-mouth and through the long finish. A crisp mouthfeel and light body.

Cask @ Cafe Beermoth, Manchester. Clear golden with a creamy head. It's smooth and crisp and weaker tasting with some graininess in its nose. There's not a lot of bitterness or flavour.
