Pale pour of gold from can white head. Krispy kolsch and some sour and citrus. Really well done. Character.

Tap at Northern Monk, Manchester. I only took numerical notes while having this one.

Very hazy golden coloured body with a thick, five to six centimetre tall, ultra microfoamed tan and off-white head that stays afloat nicely and leaves a smooth lace on the sides. Aroma of very aromatic and funky spontaneously fermented yeasts with a perfumey and very floral scent that is very nice, especially for the style. Light-bodied; Very floral, perfumey and mild malt flavours dominate with a lot of of soft candy-like sugars and grasses complicating the flavour that shows a good, crisp citrus and grainy bite at the very end and a subtle fruit pungency that shows through just about everything else as the rest of the flavours here are so mild and understated. Aftertaste is very crisp, dry, incredibly floral and especially tart and funky from brett, as the effervescence peaks through and the ange of yeasts is large, in a good way. Overall, a very flavourful, super complex and balanced beer that has a lot of flavours that you wouldn't expect for the style, like the tart yeast, funky malts, soft fruit and of course all the floral notes, but they all seem to work well, especially in the easy-drinking package. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from the Department of Beer and Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 21-August-2020 for US$4,04 sampled at my house here in Washington on 30-September-2020.

Can. Pours hazy yellow. Floral, lemon zest, tangerine, perfume, sweet citrus. Light body. Nothing special.

12 oz. can. Shared by tfontana, thanks Tom. Roma is indeed lemon with soft yeast. Flavor is bright citrus, soft herbs underneath a light malt backbone. Texture is crisp with a subtle lasting citrus pith. Maybe herb. It certainly is refreshing. Would serve as a nice pallet cleaner. Awakes the tastebuds.

Can (7/8/20) pour from Harvest Wine & Spirits, West Hartford. Appearance is cloudy dull yellow with no sparkle, thin cap of off-white head with poor retention and trace lacing. Aroma is mild lemony citrus, grass, hint of berry and yeast. Taste is yeast, lemony citrus. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, would have liked aroma and flavor to have been a bit more bold but kind of nice, in a way, to have something on the lighter side. Decent.

Can from Holiday Market. Pours a clearish straw gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Lemon zest, grain and mineral notes on the nose. Clean and crisp on the palate with light mineral, lemon zest and dried orange on the palate. Citrus on the finish with more lingering mineral and grain on the finish.
