Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden and bright with a thin white head. Nose - lemon, honey and bread. Taste - lemon, light caramel, bread and biscuit backdrop. Palate - light bodied or so, tangy sweetish middle with just enough dry tanginess on the finish to take away that sweetness. Overall - pleasant enough!

Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus, Pffafenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home Sunday 7th August 2022 sat outside listening to the new album by Jessie Buckley and Bernard Butler - For All Our Days That Tear The Heart and cooking a big Chilli Con Carne in the wood oven. Pours warm gold with a mid sized white head, some sweeteness initially with a little grainy edge. Soft moutheel, a little honey, tastes a little stronger than 5.8%. It's fine but no great shakes.

Bronze with a thin, frothy head. Mild mixed grains and caramel aroma. Taste follows along those lines, dominated by a grainy bitterness and metallic notes, particularly at the end. Lacks depth, nothing going on here to keep me engaged. Body to the light side of medium, balanced carbonation. Below average for the style.

Bottle. Clear gold with a nice but short-lived white head. Aroma of grains and hints of lemons topped off with someone’s grandma’s perfume. Taste is grains, bread, malts, cracker, lemons and even some caramel. Slightly spicy. Moderate bitterness. Medium to strong carbonation. Süffig. Alright.

Feine Malzsüße, Honig, dezenter herbaler Hopfen. Milder rezent, vollmundig, weich. Im Abgang mild aromatische zitronig-herbale Hopfenherbe. - Schönes Festbier, malzig-rund und fast schon elegant gehopft. (22.11.2020.)
