Single hop awesomeness, shining a spotlight on our favourite ingredient, the not so humble hop. Ace of Chinook has the ultimate poker face - this session IPA is low in strength but has an ace in the hole - devastating hoppy aroma & flavour.

This session IPA has been bombarded with Chinook. Mango, pine, and grapefruit explode from the glass, firing off from a light, complex toasty malt base. Low voltage, high amplitude hops, in their purest form.

Bottled. Pours hazy golden colour with long lasting white head. Its aroma is somewhat messy with some hops, fruits and even some alcoholic notes appear. Its taste is only moderately bitter, rather fruity and the body is quite light - just as one would expect from a session IPA. Leaves a bit watery feeling on the palate; and has lively carbonation. Good session IPA, but nothing extraordinary.

330 ml bottle, batch #160267, from Coop Extra, Farsund. BB date May 1st 2017. ABV is 4.5%. Slightly hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Not very exciting aroma of moderate hops and stale jam. The flavour is better, medium dry with decent hops throughout, and a well balanced bitterness.

330ml bottle into glass. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a frothy white head. High and fine carbonation. Aroma of malt, spice, grass. Flat mouthfeel, light body. Finish is lightly tangy and sour. Very pleasant quaffer with a distinctive hop note at the end.

Tap at craft b33r gallery. Golden color with huge white head. Nice chinookmhops in aroma. Taste, solid malty base followed by nice citrus hops. Refreshing medium long citrus hoppy finish. Very good.

Bottled 330ml (K-Isolinna, BB 05/2017)
Hazy orange color, medium-sized white head and lace. Aroma has pineapple, some harsh plasticky (or hop oily) notes, grass, wet doggie. Light-bodied. Pineapple, mango, grass and citrus in the fruity flavor. Short tropical fruity finish. Aroma is meh, but taste is ok for session IPA.

Bottle, 330 ml from Pivoteka. Shared with Miro and JFK10000. Pours hazy yellow with small white head. Light to moderate hoppiness, some citrus, malty, some pine, sweetish, light to moderate bitter finish. Medium bodied. Not sure what happened here but this was disappointing.

Bottle at home on 25th December 2016; received as gift. Hazy gold with thin off-white foam and scant lacing. Fruity hop aroma. Luscious grassy hoppiness in-mouth with nutty malts. Peach and plum fruits in the finish. Zingy mouthfeel and a fair amount of body. Excellent!
