MBCC 2025, Green Session. A slightly hazy orange golden beer with a white head. Aroma of sour grapes, funk, wood, apples. Taste of sour peaches, apples, funk, easy to drink.

Pours darker, clear amber. Small white head. Scent is full, oak, brett, intense. Malty. Taste is full, very mineral, mildly tart. Loads of oak, funk, very smooth. Creamy. Lovely blend, reminding of Armand's way indeed !

0,75l bottle at home. Blend #41 20/21. amber clear color, almost no head. Smells funky, cheesy, earthy, oak, nutty, walnuts, very nice smell. Full body, no carbonation. Tastes funky, earthy, oak, sherry, light curry, peppery, tobacco, bit citric. Finishes lightly dry and light sour with notes of sherry, oak and funky notes. very nice one, bit on the heavy side, could also do with some carbonation, but overall this is very nice.

Bottle at home, season 20 - 21, blend no.42. Pours orangeish with no head. Surprisingly intense acidity shows upfront, sharp, simple, not quite complex, also fairly acetic initially. It definitely opens up with some time, the acidity is way less harsh, the vinegar is almost completely gone. In fact it’s fairly fruity, peachy, citric and zesty, the funk is also lower than expected tho. Softly carbonated, easy to drink. Pretty rough first up, but then smoothes out very nicely.
