The next in our 4.8% dessert sour series "Crumble in the Bronx" brings the jammy, cosy taste of a crumble together with our classic custard flavour to make a sour not to be missed. Raspberry, blackcurrant and apple all working in harmony to make it jammy and tart with notes of vanilla and biscuit coming through, ending with a sharp finish.

28/III/20 - 44cl can from a trade, shared @ home, BB: 17/VI/20 (2020-286) Thanks to Lee B. for the trade and drop-off!

Pretty cloudy, deep ruby to purple beer, big fluffy to creamy off-white head, little stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very fruity, lots of cherries, yoghurt, some diacetyl, raspberry jam, sourish impression. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: bit sourish, pretty dry, bitter, fruity, nice acidity, bit of a dusty impression, some raspberries. Aftertaste: more fruity, some raspberries, little bitter, dry, some lemon peel even, nice acidity, some diacetyl as well.

Pendle Beer Festival 2020. Cloudy pink-purple with a lower sourness, allowing a good berry fruit through, which provides a bitter-sweetness, and a biscuit style texture.

Keg @ Tap & Can. Pours a vivid pink, no head to speak of. Bucketloads of raspberry on the nose. Taste is exceedingly fruity, raspberry taking the lead, nice sour edge, not too lactic, custard not particularly noticeable but plenty of assorted berry action going on. Nice fruit sour.
