Tap. Dark brown color. Aroma: very sweet, waffles, vanilla, caramel, chocolate, esters and a drop of rum, muffins. Sweet taste, caramel, chocolate, muffins, rum, waffles, well, not bad.

Bottle from Deconinck. Pours hazy black with a slowly diminishing, foamy, beige head. Aroma of chocolate cake & icing on top, cinnamon, gingerbread, candied banana, fudge, vanilla, sugared mocha. Taste has sweet cake, chocolate chips & candied fruit filling, spicy cookie notes with a touch of mocha on top, soft bitter toastiness. Malty finish, vague herbal hops for balance, more cake & spices & warming rum-like alcohol pairing well with the cake aspect. Full body, creamy texture, average carbonation. Not the most elegant Flavoured Stout but well-executed in its theme.

ABV: 10.0%. Sparkling, speaking, dark black brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to quickly diminishing, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, coffee, sweet malt, brown sugar, cake. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, tobacco, cake, chocolate, almonds, dark malt, sweet malt, sticky, wood - oak - cedar wood, rich, thick, light sod. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20200801]

330ml bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck. Dark pour, nice beige head. Aroma is indeed sweet, some cake icing, almond, cookie dough. Continues on to the palate, noticeably sweet with prominent cookie dough, almond, sweet chocolate, muffin icing. Decent.

Clear dark brown to black beer, small aery crackling beige head, dissipates immediately. Aroma: earthy, mushrooms, pretty oxidized, some caramel, good roast, malty. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: earthy, lots of vanilla, good roast, caramel, bitter, malty, grains. Aftertaste: bitter, bit oxidized, malty, sweet, some ripe banana, mushrooms, some milk chocolate, grains.
