A German style Festbier – tasty, full-bodied and delicately malty-mild. Created by our brewmasters to enjoy the traditional German beer festival atmosphere. A very special malt composition, including Pilsner Malt, Münchner Malt and light Caramel Malt, accounts for its fine color and smooth body. Additionally, the beer is refined with Bitburger’s proprietary and unique hop blend called ‘Siegelhopfen’ (seal hops), which is sourced from a farm just a few minutes from the brewery. This drinkable 6.2% ABV full-bodied beer is the perfect marriage of hops and malt with a slightly sweet backbone, while finishing dry.

Pours dark amber with a fluffy white head. Aroma of toasted honey, caramel. Taste has mildly hopped sweet malt base, lingering caramel. Palate has lingering hop oils on the nose. Meh.

Bottle short an ounce off 12. Looks like good old clear okto fest. Nice head BTW. Yes, typical fest brew taste. Not bad. A little bitter but OK in my book. Decent mild flavor, as it should be with the real thing. Much better than most domestic varieties. Milder, even keeled, civilized. Yes, one good example of what oktoberfest should be; a friendly beer with a little kick that does not obtrusively show its alky level. Thanks Bitburg.

330 ml bottle in a trade with johnnnniee, much thanks John. Clear orange color small lasting white head. Aroma shows soft fruit and bread. Flavor is caramel malt, yeast, and light fruity hops. Shows soft sweetness lingers a bit in the finish. A little thin in the body. As it should be.

11.2 oz. bottle purchased at Total Wine - Melbourne, FL. Pours a clear bronze color with a large off white head and excellent retention. Good lacing. Pretty pour. Caramel malt and Euro lager aroma. The taste follows the nose. Light caramel flavor with a slight Euro skunk finish. Good example of the German style. Medium body. Not too sweet. No bitterness. Clean finish. The 6.2% ABV is invisible. Very good except for the skunky edge. Prost!

Creamy nutty caramel malt and grass/hay aroma. Golden yellow with small white head. Moderately sweet nut, milk caramel malt, and mildly bitter fresh hay flavor. Very nice.

Bottle from Holiday Market. Pours a clear copper with a finger of beige foam that dissipates. Lovely bready malt, light peppercorn and mild toasted caramel notes. Good carbonation and nice, well-balanced body. Smooth toasted toffee, bread and more peppercorn on the finish. Very enjoyable festbier.

Bottle from Candia Rd Deep gold in color with a thick bubbly off white head that persists. Rich crackery toasty maltiness, floral spicy hops with just a hint of apple and mineral. Pretty tasty festbier.
